                             RESOLUTION NO.   21007  
                   
                   
                   A RESOLUTION TO AMEND THE POLICE MANUAL, 
                   MANUAL ORDER NO. 0.07, PARAGRAPH VII, TO 
                   PROVIDE THAT THE 1994 TESTING CERTIFICATION 
                   FOR SERGEANTS WILL BE EXTENDED AN ADDITIONAL 
                   YEAR.
                   
                                                     
                   
                   
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby adopted an 
       amendment to the Police Manual, Order No. 0.07, Paragraph VII, by 
       adding the following:
            
            	 Provided that the 1994 testing certification for 
            promotion to sergeant shall be valid for a period of 
            three (3) years from the date of certification.
